Once you have been approved as a potential adopter, we will make an appointment to either meet you or drive you to a pet adoption agency to consider pre-selcted animals, or make an appointment to bring a prospective pet to your home for consideration. Please note - we work hard to match you up with the most compatible pet possible. If you chose to select an animal that we do not appove of for your situation, you will no longer qualify for the incentives that we offer.
As an adopter of an approved pet through P.F.S., we offer the following:
*You pay $20.00 directly to the organization from which you are adopting your new pet.
*We pay the balance of the adoption fee, up to $100.00
*We consider only spayed or neutered animals
*We pay for annual vaccinations up to $25.00 yearly.
*If needed, free transportation to the vet of your choice in the Peoria area for your pet's annual
check-up.
All pets must be kept as indoor animals. If you can no longer keep your pet for any reason we must be notified. Unless you have signed an agreement with the adoption agency to return your pet, we will pick up the pet and do all we can to find it another responsible home.
