However, if you are calling long distance to see if we can take an animal into our program, please note that we do not accept owner give-ups. We would be happy to talk to you to offer any assitance we can, however we can not afford to return all the long distance calls we receive from owners hoping to place their animals and we will be unable to return your call unless you give us permission in your message to call you collect.
